Aerospace giant Honeywell Aerospace Yeovil (HAY), part of the global Honeywell Aerospace

group, set to trial Powerway software for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

March 2007: Aerospace giant Honeywell Aerospace Yeovil (HAY), part of the global Honeywell Aerospace

group, set to trial Powerway software for Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).

Formerly the preserve of the automotive industry, APQP is rapidly gaining ground in the aerospace sector

as the de facto product development process within and without the enterprise. Employees of HAY, formerly

from automotive backgrounds and familiar with the software contacted Syncronology some time ago.

Subsequent discussions have raised the possibility of deploying Powerway Quality Planner to manage the

relationship between the core documents such as Control Plan and Process FMEA but not before a full trial has

taken place to review and assess the product’s suitability for the aerospace industry.

Powerway’s Quality Planner application is already in use at of hundreds of

automotive supply companies worldwide. The software helps generate and manage

all the required APQP and PPAP information and documentation and with its ability to

link data to MS Project is a very powerful tool.

We look forward greatly to working with the team at HAY to ensure a successful trial.
