Amcor Ledbury Deploys Powerway
Document Control and ISO9001:2000
November 2006: Part of flexible packaging
giant Amcor, Amcor Flexibles
Ledbury, has joined four
other
Powerway Suite 2000 Document Control and Compliance Management
software at its
Ledbury plant.
The need to control an ever increasing number of business critical
documents has led
to the decision being taken as
the previous manual systems are no longer able to
cope with the demands being
placed on it by customers and staff alike.
As well as acquiring a series of Document Manager and Desktop
licences, Amcor Ledbury
Will also be deploying Powerway iPortal. This tool enables content that is being
controlled in the
client/server modules to be automatically ported to a web
location, typically a
corporate intranet.
Because of the design of iPortal, the solution lends itself
particularly well to
integration with mature
intranet sites, which means the users are already used to
using it making it
very easy to implement.
Our team here at Syncronology are looking forward greatly to
working with Steve Morton,
Quality Director at Ledbury, and his
team over the coming months and years in ensuring
a successful implementation.
